FLAGship Program
Scholarship Sponsored by Nebraska Corn Growers Association
The NeCGA Future Leaders in Ag Scholarship Program (FLAGship Program) is open to Nebraska high school seniors or college freshmen who are continuing their education in state and pursuing a degree in an ag-related field or non ag-related field. The FLAGship Program is a scholarship program for future ag leaders in Nebraska. The Nebraska Corn Growers Association (NeCGA) will award up to five $2,000 scholarships to high school seniors or college freshmen in the state of Nebraska.
To be eligible for this scholarship students must be a member of NeCGA or the son/daughter of an NeCGA member. The application for the FLAGship Program must include a letter of recommendation, a current resume, and transcript. The students are also asked to explain what issues they feel the ag industry is currently facing.
NeCGA is also teaming up with the National Corn Growers Association to provide students with multiple scholarship opportunities. With one application, students will be applying for their affiliated state application as well as any applicable NCGA scholarship. Several of Nebraska’s local associations are also offering scholarship, which can be found under the same link. All applications must be submitted via the NCGA scholarship application link. Click here to find the consolidated applications. All applications must be submitted by January 31, 2025. Recipients will be notified in the spring of 2025 and scholarships will be distributed in the December of 2025.
