Learning Seed Foundation Scholarship

Overview
The Learning Seed Foundation Scholarship Fund, created by the Learning Seed Foundation, helps graduating high school seniors from Thurston and Pierce counties pursue postsecondary education. The award primarily targets students of color who have faced major challenges and who show a strong commitment to serving others. The scholarship may be renewed for up to three additional undergraduate years; recipients must reapply each year to be considered for renewal.
Eligibility
- Must be a GED recipient or a graduating senior from a high school located in Thurston County or Pierce County.
- Demonstrated significant financial need is required.
- Preference is given to students of color and applicants who evidence a commitment to helping others.
- Renewable (subject to annual reapplication and continued eligibility).

Required application materials
- Two letters of recommendation
- Official grade transcript
- FAFSA Submission Summary or WASFA Financial Aid Offer
Note: Reapplication is required each year for consideration of renewal.
