Membership
The Tennessee Chapter of the International Association for Identification (TN IAI) offers student membership to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at accredited colleges and universities who are pursuing careers in identification sciences or law enforcement. Membership supports professional development, networking, and access to resources relevant to forensic identification and investigative disciplines. Prospective student members may apply through the TN IAI website's Membership section. Membership is open to full- and part-time students who meet the stated academic criteria.

Scholarships
The TN IAI awards semester-based scholarships to support students pursuing education in identification sciences and related law enforcement fields. Scholarships are offered for full-time and part-time enrollment, with an additional summer award. Awards are intended to offset tuition and book expenses and require documentation of academic standing and career goals.
Description: Semester scholarships are provided to qualifying students to assist with tuition and book expenses during the awarded term.
Award Value: Full-time students receive $500 per semester, part-time students receive $250 per semester, and a separate summer scholarship of $250 is available.
Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited college or university (including graduate students), have completed at least 30 semester hours (sophomore year or higher), and meet GPA requirements: minimum 3.0 for first-time applicants and 2.75 to reapply; official transcripts are required.
Application requirements: Applicants must submit a summary of academic and career goals and two letters of recommendation on letterhead submitted directly to TN IAI; awarded funds must be used for tuition and/or books for the semester.
