Iowa Pork Foundation Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Iowa Pork Foundation
The Iowa Pork Producers Association, together with the Iowa Pork Foundation and the Iowa Purebred Swine Council, provide scholarship support for both incoming freshmen and continuing college students who are planning to—or are already—pursuing a degree in an agriculture-related field with a focus on the pork/swine industry.
Eligibility and requirements
- Be enrolled (or planning to enroll) at a two- or four-year college or university.
- Be an Iowa resident.
- Intend to major in an agriculture-related discipline, with emphasis on the swine/pork sector.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Provide two letters of reference (references may be mailed separately).
- Include one copy of your high school transcript.

Additional notes
- Preference may be extended to producer members.
- Past scholarship recipients are welcome to apply again.
- Applicants who are members of the 2025 Iowa Pork Youth Leadership Team, members of the 2025 Iowa Pork Collegiate Team, or recipients of a 2025 IPPA internship scholarship are not eligible for this award.
Award payment
Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the college or university on behalf of the recipient.
