Overview
The Donald and Barbara Mozley Scholarship offers financial assistance to students who are working toward an engineering degree at a U.S. college or university accredited by ABET. The award was created to honor the legacy of Donald (Don) Mozley and his lifelong interests.

About Don Mozley
Don Mozley was a distinguished broadcast journalist whose career spanned 62 years with CBS Radio and KCBS/74 in San Francisco. He joined CBS in 1942 and reported on major historical events including World War II, the atomic bomb tests at Bikini Atoll, the presidential campaigns of Dwight D. Eisenhower and Richard Nixon, and the Senate campaign of Robert Taft. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to broadcasting, he received the Excellence in Journalism Award from the Northern California Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. Beyond news, Don had a deep enthusiasm for automobiles and produced automotive features such as “California Driver” and “Don Mozley’s Auto Test.” Inspired by this passion, Don and Barbara Mozley established the scholarship to support students pursuing engineering degrees.
