2026 Scholarship — Official Rules
Application period
- Submissions will be accepted only between February 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM Pacific Standard Time and March 2, 2026 at 11:00 PM Pacific Standard Time.
How to apply
- All entries must be completed and sent through the application form on the A Nurse I Am website. Applications sent by email, U.S. mail, fax, or any method other than the online form will not be considered.
Who is eligible
- This scholarship is available to students at the undergraduate or graduate level who are enrolled in an accredited nursing education program in one of the 50 U.S. states. Examples of qualifying programs include:
- Undergraduate: ADN, BSN, LVN/LPN, RN, or RN-to-BSN degree or diploma programs.
- Graduate or advanced programs:
- Registered nurses enrolled in MSN, PhD, NP, DNP, APRN, or other advanced nursing degree programs.
- Individuals with a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field who are enrolled in an Accelerated BSN (ABSN) or a nursing master’s program.
Enrollment and coursework requirements
- Applicants must be actively enrolled in a qualifying nursing program and must be taking courses directly related to their nursing major (for example, core nursing coursework) as of February 1, 2026. Students who are only completing prerequisite or general education classes on that date are not eligible.
- Individuals who have been accepted into a qualifying program but have not yet started nursing-related coursework by February 1, 2026 are ineligible for the 2026 scholarship.
- Both full-time and part-time students who meet the above criteria may apply.
Prizes
- Ten (10) recipients will be chosen. Each winner will receive $10,000 in scholarship funds and a medical apparel/product gift package provided by Cherokee Uniforms.
Verification
- Applicants must provide documentation of their enrollment status with their application. Finalists and their schools will be contacted by a representative of Cherokee Uniforms to confirm eligibility and enrollment.
