Each year the Texas Broadcast Education Foundation (TBEF) awards scholarships to outstanding students enrolled in broadcast journalism or closely related communication programs at colleges and universities across Texas.

Each year BAC grants three scholarships to students whose parent or step-parent is a US BAC Local member in good standing. Recipients receive $5,000 per year for a maximum of four years (total possible award of $20,000).
